Rockstar Games has revealed six radio stations for Grand Theft Auto VI, and the music no longer stops when players leave the car. Jason and Lucia can connect headphones or earbuds to their phones and keep listening while walking around Leonida.
In earlier GTA games, the radio only played inside vehicles. Rockstar is also adding on-demand podcasts, which players can start whenever they like instead of tuning into a station that is already on air.
Rockstar calls this the biggest and widest-ranging radio lineup in the series so far. These are the first six stations:
- Flash FM
- The Chamber 106.6
- Dirty South Classics
- Cocoteo FM
- Back Country Radio
- AfroBank FM
Flash FM is the name longtime fans will know. The pop station was a fixture of GTA: Vice City, and Robyn and Alex host it this time. Having it play while walking through Vice City is the part of this reveal I'm most looking forward to.
Metal fans get The Chamber 106.6 with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. Its preview includes tracks from Black Sabbath, Pantera and Slayer. Trick and Trina host the hip-hop station Dirty South Classics.
Short previews of all six stations are available on Rockstar Newswire. Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
