Palworld’s first major post-launch balance update focuses on making progression smoother and reducing unnecessary grinding.
Jetragon-related technologies can now be unlocked earlier, at Level 70 instead of Level 79, while the materials required for its riding gear have been reduced. The Aquatic Construction Kit has also been moved from Level 66 to Level 23, making it available much earlier in the game.
The update further improves access to World Tree Holy Water by extending its duration, reducing its weight and adding it to several activities and rewards. Players also receive more Fiber from trees, while crude oil extractors are now cheaper to build and produce oil faster.
Alongside these balance adjustments, v1.0.3 fixes a wide range of issues affecting quests, multiplayer, Pal behavior, boss fights, building, sound and display settings. The update is the first significant balance pass since Palworld’s successful 1.0 launch.
