Ocarina of Time's Switch 2 Remake Lets Players Fight Its Bosses Again

Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for its Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and it shows something the 1998 original never had: a place to fight its bosses again.

That place is the Hall of Fallen Foes. It looks like a small museum, with statues of the enemies Link has defeated. Players can read up on them or pick a boss for a rematch.

The trailer stays close to the original and shows familiar places and boss fights with overhauled visuals. Nintendo has also confirmed fully voiced cutscenes and orchestral music. Players can also play Link's ocarina with their voice. If they hum a song he has learned, or play it on a real instrument, the Switch 2 microphone picks it up.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026.
